A recent change in Chrome 68 on Windows 10 uses the operating system's native notification center to post messages from the browser.

If you want to revert to the old Chrome style notifications, please do the following:

  1. Type chrome://flags in your address bar
  2. Search for "Enable Native notifications" flag
  3. Set this setting to "Disabled"
  4. Quit Chrome and relaunch it
